Having a spoon or a fork with you out in the wilderness may be one of those things that a prepper doesn’t really think about during a survival situation. After all, you think, survivors will have more things to think about than eating their food with the proper utensils. Actually getting and maintaining the food supply is most important!
And that is true …
However, we are still human beings. Not animals. And as long as we remain on the upper echelon of the food chain we need to keep that humanity. Besides, there are a lot of things that can be done with a spoon other than eating soup with it.

I think a Bushcraft spork is better.
Find a stick: shape it into a spoon.
I think I’ll just use the spoon I have in my ruck sac and use the wooden spoon making time to hunt for some MEAT
