For the most part, when we forget stuff on a camping trip, it is stuff we can live without.

But you never know when you might forget something important, especially if things go wrong and you end up in a survival situation.

Camping is by itself, an exercise in a secure form of survival; you get to test skills you would not ordinarily get to test.

All of us, however, forget stuff and we try our best to at least cover the basics.
