She’s thinking about the future, which any good prepper will do, and the foods her family will eat should they need to bug-out at the last minute. O.P. has even considered the amount of water she will bring along to cook those freeze-dried meals which, with titles like Spanish Rice, Tortilla Soup, and Cheese-Turkey Casserole sound delicious!

Mylar bags and paper plates are a big component in the cooking process but we like her explanation as to why she is storing in clear glass jars. Makes sense to us!
