(Video) A Survivalist Comes Up With a Crazy Design for a Shelter. I Still Can’t Believe My Eyes When He Reveals It…

Keeping safe from the elements when a significant storm lands with snow, wind, hail, or rain is when it's vital to be prepared so that you'll all survive. Without having the proper shelter to protect everyone, you'll likely die from the horrific weather conditions before dying from starvation or getting sick.

When figuring out what kind of shelter is ideal when you're faced with a SHTF situation some survivalist may think that their tent will hold up just fine, but tents aren't always the most durable shelters in harsh weather conditions.

Having a portable tent is nice, for sure, but a long-term shelter is ideal because it'll withstand the harsh elements. And that's something you'll need during SHTF.

In fact, one prepper came up with a shelter concept suitable for a collapse. He had durability and portability in mind, and this is what he came up with on the video after the break. It's incredible!

On the next page, it's difficult not to be in awe when you get a glimpse of this prepper's bug out shelter — both inside and outside. Is this the type of shelter you would build? Decide after watching the video!

I’ve seen this video before. Neat little shelter for a homeless person. So answer this: how does a homeless person afford such a thing? My guess is they don’t. But still, it’s really a great little shelter.

this is just an easy burial for homeless without a way to heat this. Freezer tubes in the winter.

they don’t. They just freeze inside and this makes for easier clean up.

Right. As an avid winter camper I can say with certainty that this thing would freeze the occupants well before one that was in a small tent. Just by nature of the air space underneath of the person it would be hard to keep warm even with a quality sleeping bag if temperature is below freezing

Rusty, also check out Relax Shack book and others for building inspiration, by Deek Derickson. He is also into Tiny House movement.
