Fire Starter

It’s one thing to see it done, know what you want to purchase to start your fire. However, it’s another thing to actually make your own fire! Take a look here and then practice making your own!

We do like that our host has given us the reasons why he feels this is an effective fire starter. Also, a few reasons why you might want to try another method, if they are available!

As said, we highly recommend learning more than one technique when starting a fire. Really experiment, as our host eluded to, and get your methods down pat.

When the SHTF you will not want to be caught unaware!

There are many different kinds and types of fire starters. You can never have too many! They’re cheap and they work. Every time you see one, pick it up. And you’ll be just fine. 🙂

Careful with your purchase, many Coleman, coughland and harbor freight are substandard, best I’ve used are USGI
