Did you know that there may be some edible eats right in your own backyard? Many of the plants and weeds that grow in many suburban backyards are often safe to eat and in some cases, actually nutritious.

It's important to get acquainted with a variety of wild plants so you know which ones are safe to consume, and which ones to avoid.

If you ever end up in an emergency situation, you may not have the time or technology to decipher which plants you can eat. Now is the best time to learn.

We got a great video from Primitive Pathways, and in the video, he takes us on a small tour around his home to show us plants we didn't know were edible.

In this particular video, we learn about Wood Sorrel, a green plant that looks similar to Clover and comes with pretty yellow blooms. He then takes us over to the tall spindly greens that happen to be Wild Lettuce, a hardy plant with edible leaves and flowers.

Before you head out to your backyard to see what edible plants you can find, be sure to check out this informative video on the next page.
