Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my. When most people think of these animals, the only pictures we can form are of the unholy strength and ferocity of these beasts.
There is a reason that the Romans would capture these creatures for gladiators to fight in the arenas: because the gladiators usually lost. Which was fun for the Romans, but less so for the gladiators, and probably not so much for the animals.
However, there is one man who has formed a special bond with one of these mighty animals. Having raised it as a cub, he then had to leave the young lioness he rescued in a reservation where she would be safe.
Reunited after quite some time, there were two ways this reunion could have gone: adorable lion cuddles or gladiator-esque mauling.
