It's incredible to see what happens when a bear crosses paths with a cougar!
When a disruptive event occurs, or you choose to live off the grid, you have no choice but to live off the land for days, weeks, or even years if you decide to do so. While living off the land has its perks, it's still important to be aware of the potential wild, and dangerous animals may be in the area you dwell.
For example, wild animals such as bears and even cougars are bigger and much stronger than we are. To make it through while living in the wilderness, it is best to stay away from them. After all, if you encounter a bear who is protecting her young she likely won't be afraid to attack.
In addition to facing animals that see you, there may be the occasion that you get to watch animals at a distance without feeling threatened. In fact, when a man manages to catch on camera a large bear attacking a cougar, what goes down is jaw-dropping!

The bear could kill the cat pretty easy but the bear knows the cat catches food for him, I sure they crossed paths many times
one defending a cub, the other only looking for an easy meal (doesn’t find it).

In nature, when food is not at issue, it seems animals recognize that even if they believe they’ll win in the end, if they think there is a good chance they’ll be injured in the altercation, they’ll take an available out. Humans aren’t necessarily that smart.
