It is not an exaggeration to say if you are walking about the wilderness or perhaps even relaxing near a stream and you see a bear it is probably a good idea to calmly and cautiously settle back. Do not move a muscle or, if you are able – with composure – retrace your steps and get the heck out of there.
Generally speaking, a bear is not really out to harm anyone unless her cubs are being threatened or she is extraordinarily hungry. Sickness may make a bear strike out too.
But the point is, even if you are sure a bear is safe you do not want to take any chances. Getting that once in a lifetime photo with a posing bear probably is not worth the danger!
Having said this, the videographer on the next page really did get an amazing piece of video when a bear wandered into his camp on a hilltop, overlooking an ocean, and sat down to take in the view with his human brethren.
He or she did not look threatening but, if we were in the same situation we are not certain we could have kept the camera rolling! Go take a look by watching the video after the break!

Oldy but a goody 🙂
I guess he wasn’t hungry? Crazy!
He was just curious to see what the hell the guy in the chair was looking at !
Well I can tell you that my shorts would be the same color as the bears fur.
Very very very lucky
Bears do mimic . They will stand and wave , sit human like.
The man’s not in the chair. I think it’s click bait to learn the man was eaten.

wow
Did anyone else se the shotgun to the lower left of the bear… And the fact that there was more than one chair means that he was probably armed and not to worried…. We do have the right to bear arms haha
