I spent many a year in the Army in Combat Arms. Many of those years were served in West Germany, where I was introduce to the folding Esbit stove. I love having my coffee and this little stove works great and it can also be used with military issue heat tabs. There are other items that you can use that I will not get into here, that will ignite and burn hot, they are available, but not to civilians.
