There are a lot of things to look out for when spending time out in the wilderness. Hungry predators like mountain lions and bears can quickly make any situation an unpleasant one, bad weather can be either extremely annoying or extremely dangerous, depending on how prepared you are, and accidents by your own hands or by your companions can very often prove fatal.

Of the things to look out for, though, plants and trees can seem the most benign, yet can be just as dangerous, if not more so, than anything else you’ll run into out there.
