At the heart of the vast majority of survivalists is the desire to be prepared for whatever life throws your way.

A large part of what drives us though, let’s be honest, is that we like gadgets, gear, hacks, and innovations.

In fact, much of what drives the industry beyond food preparation is the fact that most of us spend a lot of time and money looking for stuff that will make our lives easier if (and when) we come face to face with a survival situation.

We know that the various tools, equipment, materials, and supplies we buy will aid us and possibly even save our lives when called upon!

They are also, for the most part, cool.
