Every survivalist should as much as they can about their surroundings. This includes knowing about plants and animals. Part of that knowledge is learning how survivalists lived in the past and the things they had to face.

This video from Facts Verse shows us terrifying animals that we can be happy are extinct. However, it also reminds us that there are still plenty of animals out there that could do us harm so we should always know as much as we can and be careful. Our survival may depend on it!

It is shocking to think that these animals once lived where many of us do now. For example, there were flying massive birds and giant centipedes that are more than three feet and probably ate many things that we don't even want to think about.

Even though survivalists should be very glad that these animals no longer exist, there are still plenty of dangerous animals out there. It's always important to be aware of what type of animals may be dwelling with you live as well post-collapse!
