People have been wearing and using bandanas for years. We have a variety of bandanas around out home and office in various patterns, colors and stages of life. Some are falling apart because we've had them for so long. Others still have the sale tag on them. But at the end of the day, we all know how useful these inexpensive pieces of fabric can be. They're great in an emergency to wrap around a wound. If you have two, they can also work as a splint or arm sling – we've used them for the latter ourselves. Dear Grand Canyon, Thanks for the broken arm and the fond memories.

But recently we began hearing of alternate uses for bandanas and started compiling a list. We've always used them to open jars when we're out camping. It goes without saying that they work great as a sweat guard when you're working on a project that requires some elbow grease. But this afternoon we discovered 101 uses for bandanas and wanted to share it.
