I was searching online for some innovative ways to start a fire and found this awesome video – from a survival perspective, except maybe as instruction on what burns and how to light it, this is pretty useless.

But from a “these are some really cool uses for fire” perspective, the video is amazing.

We know and have become accustomed to various “new” ways of starting and maintaining a fire – using steel wool, a battery and gum wrapper, cotton balls laced with Vaseline, etc., but this video shows how you can use fire to entertain and have fun!

These hacks may not help you in a survival situation if you are in the middle of nowhere, but each is an easy and inexpensive way to entertain with fire.
