U.S. Nuclear Target Map! Find Out Who Lives in the Zones.

target map

We rather enjoy looking at certain maps. They tell us so many things, including where restaurants and parks are if you are on a road-trip. But when you are looking at a nuclear target map that enjoyment pretty much goes out of the window!

It is really rather intriguing, learning about where you live in terms of the results of a nuke attack, and seeing how you will fare. Yet, it is also sobering and, if you have a bug-out shelter or bomb shelter in a drop zone, a little deflating to know you probably will not make it out alive. In other words, you may want to check out those safe zones a little more carefully!

We suggest you give the map a look then, after that, you may want to show it to your family and friends. It’s not just important but at least you know you let them know the odds and they can make up their own minds!

Go check out the map over on the next page!

IMHO, Seattle is missing from this target map as a possible (and very likely) target.
Not wishing it on them, or any of us (I’m down here in Dallas where we’ve been on this map for a lonnng time)

I put a No Nuclear Weapons Zone sign at the end of my driveway. I’m safe.

Funny thing about this map is that at least 2 reactors were missed in new york alone. Not counting all of the nuclear subs stationed everywhere from hawaii to the in the great lakes and the st Lawrence seaway

Where did this map originate n why should we put any confidence in its validity? Its on the internet, it Must be true…

Very inaccurate. Figure this, if you live within 100 Mike radius of any major populace center or capital city, you’re in a known targeted zone.

  9. Anthony Talley said:

With what kind of reasoning tho? I understand the heavy population part…

Looks like California, New York, and DC, that’s cool, no loss there. All those targets in the middle of the country are a bit of a bummer, hope they re-think that part.

It’s not population..it’s military bases .. communication .. travel pathways .. etc .. the civilian casualties would just be a bonus to clog the system

  12. Guy Messina said:

Example.. being a mainer .. the target in Maine is the early warning navy base that watches the north Atlantic

  13. Guy Messina said:

George Washington bridge in New York New Jersey ..all trucks heading north .. done .. have to back track through upper state

  14. Anthony Talley said:

Ok, I may stand corrected then, as I know little in the way of military or communication line locations. But to stick a map up with some dots on it for the average person to put faith in doesnt say much, unless one is simply a follower…

Russia doesn’t want to nuke America. They want America for food basket. They just don’t want us in it !!!

  16. Guy Messina said:

If that happens .. ain’t gonna matter anyway .. drink$#%&!@*party.. cause we will ALL BE Gone

  17. Guy Messina said:

Given a nuclear attack in those locations..and prevailing winds ..its all over folks .. you may survive.. but you’ll just die tired and sick

Any prepping for nuclear fallout/war or whatever only prolongs your misery. Hope Im at ground zero when it explodes so I dont suffer. Life would never resume a real normalcy like we know it afterwards…

Not really a lot of that will be in the water from the Mississippi River drain area.

This map is crap. Cheyenne mountain would be in the top 5, as would tinker AFB in okc, top supply depot in the U.S. for the A.F.

There used to be Titan missile silos there. Watch the PBS documentary called Command and Control. We almost had a 3MT explosion there in the 70’s.

No matter where you live you’ll probably die from fallout of nuclear winter of the world goes nuke happy. Unless you’re in a heavily fortified bunker you shouldn’t even worry.

Amarillo, Texas should be also, due to the Pantex facility
