Top Rated Tactical Knives

It goes without question that one of the most important tools a person can have in a survival, doomsday or SHTF situation is a dependable, durable, sharp knife.

With a reliable knife, surviving becomes much easier specifically because of all the critical actions you can do with a knife that are much more difficult and even impossible without one.

The question is which knife is the best option?

That question elicits as many opinions as there are people with opinions.

Just about everyone has their own preference, but there are a select group of knives that everyone agrees, make the short list of almost every survivalist.

They are known for their strength and versatility, ease of handling and ability to be used over and over again with little more than routine maintenance.

Ok this list was obviously not composed by a knife person. If it was the the TOPS knives Tom Brown Tracker would NOT be in this list. I would place the TOPS BoB or brothers of bushcraft knife on instead. As far as a tactical knife are we talking a fighting knife or a survival knife that can be used as a weapon in a pinch? They are different animals. If a knife is good at wilderness skills it doesn’t make it necessarily the best weapon and a good weapon is not necessarily good for bushcraft and survival. For a fighter you want a blade that is fast in hand, thin blade that can take a very very keen edge(bad for chopping and surviving) something designed to part flesh. Stabbing and slashing are different motions and uses than bushcraft and as such should be approached differently. For a “tactical” fighting knife I would go with a karambit on the small end and a large Bowie style knife with sharpened sledge on the larger end with the KaBar fighting knife right in the middle. I own a KaBar produced Becker BK7 and it is about as robust a survival knife as one could ask for but I wouldn’t want to use it as fighting knife unless no other choice because it is very heavy and not very agile in the hand. This is just my thoughts and I’d be happy to discuss knives with anyone. One of my favorite topics 🙂

Fallkniven F1 and S1, they cost a bit but NOTHING compares NOTHING.
Compare the stats and the tests done.
They are the legit best knife made bar none.
The F1 can hold 500lbs before the blade gives out, the S1 has a 350lb threshold.
I have not seen tests like that run on any other knife, although they offer lifetime warranties.
What if they are there anymore to swap it out?
Check out this line and you will find it is used by the elite military worldwide.

Becker has a non existent quality control and when i read the reviews and called them, the response was they would try to pick out a good one for me.
The Ferber LMF doesn’t have a full tang, it’s a rat tail tang and they try to justify it.
Go look at Fallkniven for the best without question, survival, hunting or defense.
