The movie that finally got Leo DiCaprio his elusive Oscar was received for his depiction of fur trapper Hugh Glass in The Revenant. This movie led to a lot of talk as to the realities of a grizzly bear attack and what it would really be like. Few people realize that Hugh Glass was a real person, and the events in the movie (and the book) were largely accurate representations of real events in his life.
