These Strategies Will Keep You Alive When the Grid Goes Down

urban destruction

When people think about survival and prepping, their first thoughts naturally are drawn to bugging out to a remote location. They also think of a prepper with a well-stocked pack on their back or driving a souped-up off-road vehicle loaded with supplies to a well-armed cabin in the woods.

There in the woods the survivalist can bunker down and blast away the roaming marauders that will naturally be breaking down every door.

However, most of what prepping involves is stocking up your home with all of the survival essentials and simply bugging in, rather than bugging out.

But the question often comes up: What if I live in an urban area? Will it still be possible to survive an emergency situation if I live at the epicenter?

For answers to that question, you may want to keep reading to find out what will keep you alive when all hell breaks loose on the next page.

Its a difficult thing. Living in a big city makes it difficult. Gotta have a plan. Gotta have a few exit routes. Knowing where places are for supplies is a must. Never leave your BOL without three forms of protection. I bought a dump pouch a while back but as I run a tacced out SKS I repurposed it for shotshells instead of using a 25rd tac reload shotshell pouch.

How can anyone 100% say any of this stuff will work? It’s never happened…so how do they know!
