Sure You Probably Have Many Survival Knives, But Do You Have The Right Knives? Having The Best Knives Is A Matter Between Life And Death When Dealing With A Survival Situation. HERE'S HOW You Can Select The Right Knives:

In any survival, camping or bushcraft situation, your knife is one of the most effective tools you will own.

You will use it more than virtually any other tool in your survival arsenal for cutting, chopping, slicing, skinning – even for self-protection.

Knowing what knife to own, or which knives always to have on hand is, however, a question of utility, ease of use and preference.

Some people prefer folding knives while others insist on fixed blade – and almost everyone has a favorite brand they swear by.

While there are some constants for all knives, such as quality of steel, there are many other options that are highly variable, such as length of the blade, the width of the blade, whether to have a serrated portion, etc.

Invest in a couple of GOOD knives…many people with collections end up with a ton of swap meet grade junk. Earlier poster suggested a military grade Kbar ….excellent choice.

When it comes to fixed blade knives, I’ll stick with Fiddleback Forge knives from the fiddlebackoutpost.com store.
