It is a truism in warfare that the best-laid plans work flawlessly – until they are executed.
Then, reality forces deviation and turns strategy into a fluid management of chaos.
The same is true for the best-laid survival plans and more specifically, your survival kit.
It does not matter how many lists you make, how often you review and refine it, how much input you have from other like-minded survivalists.
When the moment comes or in its aftermath, you will have overlooked or forgotten something you will need.
The best you can do is constantly review and refine, keep those lists and add to your survival kit as you go, hoping that one thing you forgot or overlooked is not a deal-killer.
