While we loved social media; YouTube, and all those wonderful blogging sites that show us any number of interesting and seemingly sensible things that we should and must look into, we have to also take it all with a grain of salt.
For instance, there are a lot of prepper and survival sites and videos out there extolling the virtues of a single way to maintain your way of life and to keep you and yours safe during a SHTF situation. While many of them are sincerely helpful and give a prepper and survivalist food for thought, not everything we are told is without inaccuracy.
Simply put, there are some would-be survival experts out there who may not know what they are talking about. Now, their information may be partially correct, giving us inspiration and helping us to prep in a way that will do everyone a lot of good, while a part of their refrain might be filled with misinformation that could get people hurt or killed!
Granted, most of us have the common sense to listen and understand what is right for the people we care about and us, but, honestly, there are times when we really have to stop believing the garbage that has been presented to us.
Go to the next age and read-up on some of the more common and even the subtle things you should probably not pay too much attention to.

Sounds like these so called Experts are not very Expert !!! People will not migrate away from the cities ?? Maybe, until the food runs out; If Full Blown Civil War breaks out, there will be no Laws, to start with. Eventually when things start to settle down and some sort of New Gov’t takes control, then some New Laws will reappear. Always Prep for the Worst and Hope you never have to use them. Better to have to much food, water, ammo, etc than have nothing and have no help coming !!!

Agreed. This is the 3rd site in as many days to publish the same info essentially verbatim. And it’s not even remotely accurate. Katrina is a textbook case to learn from. And it negates like half of what this article claims.
What makes it worse is that this information doesn’t name an original source. Just nameless “survival experts.” Can you say “appeal to authority” anyone? It’s the case of using credentials to beat unbelievers into submission. Not buying it!
