One of the most overlooked survival resources is the pine tree. It does not matter what type of pine – they all have multiple uses that span everything from food to fire-making to predicting the weather and much more.

Pine trees are present just about everywhere in North America, Europe and parts of Asia – pretty much anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere – regardless of whether you are in an urban, suburban, rural or wilderness environment.

That means no matter where you are, you have an awesome survival resource, just waiting for you to harvest and use it.
