Finding and drinking clean water, especially when you're bugging out or are dealing with a SHTF situation is easier said than done.

Sure, you can ensure you have safe drinking water but fresh drinking water will only last you so long. If you end up having to stay where you're at and are quickly running out of supplies, you need to have a backup plan.

If you happen to be bugging out in an area that only has salt water, it's important that you plan ahead. First of all, know the area you'll be bugging out at.
