One thing we do not talk about often enough is the potential of radiation sickness after a collapse. It would not surprise us at all if, when the SHTF, a part of the problem will be a radioactive meltdown. It may not happen right away but, eventually without electricity, without a “cooling” effect, something has got to give!

Even if this sort of thing happens in a country far away from your own there is going to be residual effects and you do not want to be caught unaware! If not you and yours, think about other families with children and the future generations that will have to live with the potential of radiation sickness and its aftermath!

No, it's not pretty. It is up to us to do something about it on a level where we have control.
