Everyone involved in the survival lifestyle, whether you just believe in being prepared in general, are preparing for a SHTF moment / situation or the end of the world, has advice as to what to include in a survival kit.

Opinions are as varied as the people in those three categories, but what most do not offer is what not to include.

You only have a limited amount of space for a bug-out bag or survival kit and too often we include stuff we want to have in there, not stuff we need.
