Paracord Survivalist Bracelet: A Step by Step Guide with Photos

What you'll need to get started:

  • Paracord (preferably 10 feet in length). This can be found at your local hardware store or you can purchase it online if you're lazy.
  • Side release buckle
  • A handy dandy tape measure
  • A pair of scissors
  • Matches or a lighter (A lighter is easier, but matches will do)

The team at DIY Ready have such excellent ideas, don't they? You can find this bracelet tutorial and others on their site here. Luckily we have a barrel full of paracord in our garage at all times, so it makes projects like this fun and easy to do on the fly. We recommend making a few of these at a time so you have a stockpile whenever you need one in a pinch. The thing is, once you've used your paracord bracelet, you'll need another to take its place. So it's good to be prepared and to make a few at once.
