Hygiene in a survival situation is critical to making sure you stay healthy. There are myriad parasites, bacteria and viruses lurking out there and ensuring you do not catch them is paramount because a sick you means a weakened and less effective you, which can be deadly.

    Oak branches contain a natural antiseptic. Just chew on the end of a branch to fray it, then massage your gums and teeth.
