Almost all of us have dreamed at one point or another of living “off the grid.” For most of us, that is the extent of it – dreaming about it on one of “those days” where everything seems to work like Monday morning.

For this amazing couple, however, they took off the grid and brought it to an entirely new level!

Using salvaged timber, old fish farm technology and a lot of creativity, they fashioned a million flotilla that includes five greenhouses, a studio, an outdoor dance floor, art gallery and a generator shed.

Incredibly, they have lived here for over two decades! Both artists, they eat from the plants they grow in their “garden” and the seafood they catch dockside, or rather “house-side.”
