We understand that rules are put into place to keep we, as citizens of the USA and albeit the world, on the up and up. Without law a mob mentality can happen and none of us want to see that happen.

before you build, make damn sure your City By Laws, City Building Laws and Codes.
Neighbours are who the are, not all are understanding.
We all now property and resale value of our homes not only depend on how well kept and maintained we keep our property, it also depends on neighbours.

I don’t think a person went to jail for simply building a windmill. There is way more to this story.
You didn’t pay a million plus for a home, you signed a not to a bank saying you’d pay them back. The bank owns the home. Furthermore if you skip out on your taxes of your fully paid for home, the government owns your home.
Trees are natural and bring money into the neighbourhood by looks and beauty and birds.
This ain’t no tree and it nothing of beauty not in a Residential neighbourhood.
I understand your feelings toward the guy, I am to.
But face the facts, he’s a doormat for laying down, and going to jail.
