Minnesota Man Gets 6 Months in Prison for Building Wind Turbine on His…

wind-turbine-680x365

We understand that rules are put into place to keep we, as citizens of the USA and albeit the world, on the up and up. Without law a mob mentality can happen and none of us want to see that happen.

However, when the government sticks their nose into areas having to do with survival, prepping and self-sufficiency we must be very aware that it's likely our rights are being violated.

Where does it stop when a family cannot build a wind turbine on their very own property?

The following is the true story of a man who had an idea and tried to implement an environmentally sound and self-sufficient wind turbine on his own property but people interfered with his project every step of the way.

Then, to top it off, he was put into prison even when he tried to correct “the problem.”

Go check out this interesting and very disturbing story on the next page. Something is very wrong here.

They do not make money on water and electricity if we are self sufficient. This is not the land of independence. This is the nation of dependence.

I’ll be damned if a neighbor is going to determine what I can and can’t do on my property. I would have found something stupid to complain to the city about regarding the neighbor in question. Just so they could know how it feels. His lawn is to green, I have allergies! I can’t enjoy the outdoors due to thier lawn and gardens.

He only spent a week in jail and mostly because refused to do what the court ordered. And no when you live amongst $1,000,000,000 homes they are not going to let you have that noisy$#%&!@*thing on your property

  14. Trever Wickoren said:

So if you just paid a million plus for your home. It would be ok for the noisy thing to be 50 feet from your bedroom window?

  15. Craig Small said:

It’s sucks that people have restrictions on their property but when you live in neighborhoods you know it

  16. Kris Burrill said:

So if I paid a million plus for my home I think there wouldn’t be a neighbor within a mile. Let alone 50 feet from my window, unless it was mine. Lib tard

The point though he lives in million dollar homes. I don’t live to far away and I’m damn near off grid. I also have a wind turbine and I have no problems because I’m the only person out here. They are not going to allow anyone to have that noisy crap with people living 50 feet away.

Especially when it’s clearly against building codes of the area. Don’t move somewhere if you don’t like the laws you have to follow.

  22. Pablo Rodriguez said:

I don’t agree with it, but
before you build, make damn sure your City By Laws, City Building Laws and Codes.
Neighbours are who the are, not all are understanding.
We all now property and resale value of our homes not only depend on how well kept and maintained we keep our property, it also depends on neighbours.
If people view it as an eye sore, be ready and prepared for a fight, and go in to win.
    Win it for good,
Don’t be this idiot, build it knowing people are
going to frown on it, cause they will.
29ft Wind Turbine in a populated neighbourhood is going
    piss people off.
    Know it.
Than take the stupid thing down and go to jail..
    Win the fucking thing.

Most trees are taller than that…heck most houses are at least 20 ft tall.i see nothing wrong here except over reach by local government and a few neighbors that need shot

  27. David Waters said:

I don’t think a person went to jail for simply building a windmill. There is way more to this story.

  28. Bradley Wonderful said:

You didn’t pay a million plus for a home, you signed a not to a bank saying you’d pay them back. The bank owns the home. Furthermore if you skip out on your taxes of your fully paid for home, the government owns your home.

  29. Jeff Ovington said:

Trees are natural and bring money into the neighbourhood by looks and beauty and birds.
This ain’t no tree and it nothing of beauty not in a Residential neighbourhood.
I understand your feelings toward the guy, I am to.
But face the facts, he’s a doormat for laying down, and going to jail.
From your feelings I doubt lay down and let them walk over you.
    I wouldn’t either.
    His own fault.
