As wonderful as it is to garden, to have those vegetables on the ready for canning or fresh salads, there is an awful truth that cannot be ignored: Where there are plants there are bugs. And unfortunately these nasty pests can chew up and ruin our garden if we're not careful.

There are a number of pesticides out in the marketplace, ready to do battle with a variety of bugs, and some are quite good. However, where there are vegetables a gardener really needs to be cautious. You don’t want to eat any of those dangerous chemicals, do you?
