How to Survive a Blizzard Without Power and Make it Out in One Piece

As pampered human beings we pretty much have it made. We may pride ourselves on our outdoor life, how we made it through another weekend of wilderness training, but at the end of the day – if it’s cold outside – we come inside and bask in the warmth of our heater, stove and – to be honest – the heat of our big screen TV sets!

This isn’t bad-mouthing a good way of life. Many of us deserve the rewards of a hard-working existence, no matter what we do, but what might happen to us should we lose power for days or even a week at a time?

If you are a prepper, homesteader, and survivalist, you might already have this covered. However, there are still prepping avenues out there that some may not have considered. Many of these things seem elementary but, when push comes to shove, even the best prepper can panic; forgetting their training and improvising tactics.

    There are so many ways you can keep your power going in you know how, solar panels hooked up to deep cicled batteries, and hydrogen fuel for your generaters…
