Oh, the mattress. This can be the most heavenly place in your home. It can beckon you after you walk in the door after a long day, and comfort you with promises of sleep.

A good mattress can be just as good as sleeping on the softest cloud (or what we imagined clouds must feel like when we were children), while a bad mattress can be the bane of our existence.

Quality mattresses matter. You know what else matters? A clean mattress. That’s right! Along with rotating your mattress, you should also be cleaning it.

Here are a few tips on cleaning your mattress. All you really need is one item, and I’m sure it’s sitting in your pantry already!
