You may have a whole mess of grandiose plans about how you would survive in all sorts of weather and terrain, and your survival or bug out bag may even reflect that.

However, if you've ever put serious thought into winter survival, chances are even you, the most rugged and badass survivor on the block, feel a little chill up your spine (pun intended).

Winter survival is a whole different ball game.
