How to Properly Freeze Spinach and Other Greens

Growing your food is one vital way survivalists can prepare for a survival situation and gain access nutrient-rich vegetables and fruits without many of the concerns many possess regarding store bought food.

Unless you live in an environment where you can grow fresh food all year, however, you must be able to store it for future consumption, including throughout the non-growing months, which in some places can be as long as six or seven months.

One easy way to do that is to freeze your vegetables and fruits, but if you freeze greens you have to make sure you do it correctly and account for air, moisture and freezer burn.

You cannot just throw them in a bag and forget about them.
