You never know when a crisis can hit. In a blink of an eye, a life-threatening situation can emerge. And as a survivalist, it's critical for you to be prepared if and when that happens.
Store food and other supplies in an event of an emergency. Also, burning fire logs or fire bricks could be a survival asset too.
If you've been procrastinating on stocking up on logs and fire bricks, you need to start. The time is now, and it's better to be prepared before a major crisis starts. Visit your local hardware store or ask locals where you can buy the supplies that you need to survive.

I have a special press that I picked up on the cheap (5 bucks), that was designed for recycling newspapers into logs.
It is kind of old and the instructions say to tear the paper into 1 inch or smaller strips, soak them in water, and then place the wet strips into the press mold and allow to dry. I use a paper shredder, though…
I am also playing around with the idea of pulping the newspaper before putting it in the press, for tighter compression.
