Wow, did you guys forget a ton of things. The pieces of information you did give would be a very VERY basic start. Want to know the best way to vashish from the grid? It takes years, because there are some survival skills that are NOT the same as SHTF, if things are working, every cop you see becomes an enemy (they can lawfully request ID and if you don’t have it? Busted. Park rangers? Same deal.
Let’s list some “street skills” you’ll need. For 1, don’t let anyone even think you have anything. If you get robbed and beaten, where you going to go? Hospital, and first thing they want? You guessed it.
Skills like scrapping, or selling good items that were left out as junk are out too, why? Requires ID. No guns allowed to be carried either. Why? Requires not just ID, but the few states that allow them require a CCW license. Oh, let’s not forget about when you first got your license, remember that thumb print they wanted? Guess what, that never changes.
By now I am sure many are asking “How would you know?”
Because from 1993-2001 I WAS off the grid. A man whom didn’t exist, or so I thought. Wasn’t until I was put in the hospital and they ran my prints that Brought up my California DL I got in 1988 where my thumb print was taken to identify me.
Those with military history? Remember induction? Yep, they took your prints, so your in the system already.

Actually if you know your constitutional rights they can NOT do anything about the I.D. unless there is a crime commited, for that to happen there has to be a victim. I know this because I have won this point several times.

For 17 years I was an escaped convict 1995-2012 I lived in the woods most of that time surviving on nature. I ended up turning myself in and finishing my time. After 7 years I didn’t exist anymore, my driving record was clean, there was no record of me at all when I turned myself in. Besides if the child was given a name it was given a birth certificate.
It is a terrible thing but in the 50s and up to the 70s mortality rate of new borns wasnt that great.
