tapping a Maple tree

The “season” for Maple sap can be tricky, the days have to be close to freezing or above and the nights have to be cold – the colder the better.

But if your timing is right, Maple sap can be a short-term life-saver!

In a survival situation, Maple sap can provide you with the vital calories and nutrients you need to keep going!

It can be collected to add flavor to foods you cook or drank straight from the tree.

While you cannot survive on Maple sap indefinitely, in a survival situation, Maple sap can ensure you have the energy you need to address the challenges of surviving!

Actually, no, no he doesn’t show you how to tap a tree, total waste of time, no instructions at all, like how deep do you drill, that would be an important tip

Not rocket science. I’m sure whatever tool used to drill will have sap on it if it’s far enough in the tree. You’d be close if it wasn’t far enough yet.

Moral of the story. Drink maple syrup in survival situation. It’s good for you and tastes great and is abundant in this state
