Whether homesteading or dealing with the aftermath of a survival event, there are a particular set of tools everyone should have on hand.

These tools will help with everyday stuff and special projects.

You can try and do without them, but like any project, not having the proper tools can render even the simplest tasks frustrating and even impossible.

Worse, improvising with tools that are not made for certain tasks can be incredibly dangerous, even deadly.

That is why every survivalist who is preparing for a survival event and its aftermath as well as every homesteader or those living off-grid, should have a basic foundation of tools from which they can use as they are needed.
