The concept of the alpha wolf is one that constantly retold again and again on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.

Usually, this idea is spread by young, egotistical jock types who insist that the alpha male is hugely aggressive and doesn't do anything for anyone other than himself, which is what puts him on top of the food chain.

While more and more young men aspire to this version of the alpha male, it's important to make note that real alpha males, as they really appear in wolf packs, are not the ‘lone wolf' types who do everything themselves, for themselves.
