Regardless of how prepared you are, you will forget something in your survival kit or bug-out bag.

The best you can do is make a list of things others have forgotten and have posted videos or written about.

But even the most thoughtful and prepared survivalist will inevitably overlook or forget to include something.

Worse, you will not remember it until you need it and if it is an acute survival situation or SHTF moment, chances are you will not be able to get it, at least not immediately.

You may even have to give up something in barter to get your hands on it, which means you may have to give up something valuable, depending on the needs of the other person and how rare the item they forgot is.
