Anyone who is accustomed to the survival lifestyle knows that firearms are an important aspect to making it through when the grid goes down or you're experiencing a SHTF moment.
You may not necessarily need a gun for self-defense, but you will need it to hunt, and in reality, that means like your other tools, you need to own the correct one so you can stay alive.
It's also vital that you have a few firearms that'll meet the challenges that you'll face when SHTF. And trust me, you are bound to experience at least a few unexpected moments when all hell breaks loose.
Keep in mind that while rifles do a lot, it's difficult to have just one for your needs.
For example, a .22 won't cut it if you're hunting big game, and using a shotgun also won't work if you're out in the wilderness trying to catch smaller game. You should know what you're going to hunt ahead of time and which guns should be in your possession while you're hunting.
