Doomsday Fake News: How to Identify it and How it Works

So-called “Fake News” has been a hot topic in politics since the 2016 election; in fact, some people’s preoccupation with alleged fake news has all but hobbled many in Washington, DC.

Unfortunately, fake news is not relegated just to politics; the “survival industry” is often rife with fake news, conspiracies that never quite pan out and stories driven by paranoia.

This reality has prompted many to waste a lot of money, time and effort attempting to address the “next big crisis” as those propagating myths laughed their way to the bank.

That is not to say every survival related story out there is pock-marked by fake news.

It is to say that as those who are concerned with rational survival, we have to be careful about the news we believe and/or disseminate to others.
