Unless you live in an urban area, chances are there are some worn and used tires hanging around your home or the neighborhood somewhere.

In many locations they are expensive to get rid of legally and getting rid of them illegally is not an option, so they end up being put away in an old shed or barn, mainly forgotten.

Luckily old and abandoned tires do not have to be in a dusty room for decades. They still have a lot of potentials when it comes to practical uses besides just being on a vehicle and helping us get around!

With some ingenuity, we can re-purpose those washed up old tires into useful items around our homes and in the process save money as well as put to use what some of us deem as trash.
