Don’t Replace Them – Fix You Survival Backpack & Bug Out Bag Straps + Zippers

With all we do as survivalists, its those small little inconveniences that can make or break an outdoor venture, trip or emergency situation. For instance, a torn strap or damaged zipper is hazardous as you can lose critical supplies if not noticed immediately, and can make carrying your gear near impossible.

Can you imagine losing your supplies? Food? And if a strap breaks mid trip, your balance and overall momentum while carrying your items will be completely thrown. Thus causing other issues like unnecessary back pain and tension in your shoulder or arms for overcompensating.

Many of these problems can be fixed; some are easier than others, but it's important to act quickly before the situation gets worse. Just make certain the correct tools, including a sewing needles, thread, buckles, clips and sliders are nearby.

Surprisingly, even the best made and most heavy duty backpacks are vulnerable to strap tears and zipper breaks – but it does help if your pack is well made opposed to flimsy.
