Do You Have These Critical Elements in Your Bug-Out Bag? This Prepper is Well Prepared…

bug out bag supplies

Your bug-out bag has to reflect an array of survival situations and SHTF moments you may face, which means you have to tailor it.

The basics, however, are pretty standard as this video shows.

Bug-out bags in some respect reflect the priorities and personalities of their owners; very few are entirely standard.

Some items, however, are or should be ubiquitous to every bug-out bag; without them, the bug-out bag is not only not complete, but it could also actually affect your ability to survive.

What do you include in your bug-out bag? Tell us in the comment section below.

If you cant take that bag camping in bad weather for atleast 3 days your going to die of hypothermia.

Well, the pic has the girl in sandals, wearing a sleeveless top. Kinda thinking this was more click bait than actual serious information about any kind of survival…unless she’s going to the Mall 😛

Do we really have such short attention spans that we need T&A in our prepping videos?
Contents of that first aid kit would be important. Also lacking a water filtration device when that bottle of water runs out. Sealed pouches of salmon and tuna are far lighter than cans as well and take up less space

    I’m really curious about something:

Of those who plan to “bug out,” where, in general, do you plan to go? What do you plan to eat when you get there? What is the definition of “SHTF” to you?

I ask because except for the most trivial of catastrophic events, my personal opinion is that “bugging out” is a recipe for starvation, as bad as living in a city.

Not trying to be argumentative, just curious about why people think this is a good idea.

If I have to bug-out I plan to move to an off grid cabin. Been planning & working on it for years this in my opinion is the only way to survive. Hopefully plan on moving to the sight way before I have to…Chtf is total break down of life as we know it. Total chaos & breakdown of any & all social liberties that we all now take advantage of….

James Carnley You have a specific place in mind that you own? You can farm there?

Very basic. However the speed of reaction to the perceived “threat” was in itself interesting. In a real SHTF I’d hope she had another mag and a box of ammo for the pistol. I’m not a “guns are all you need” believer but one mag full isn’t enough.
