Building a Raised Garden Bed to Use as a Survival Garden

Raised bed gardens are an economical and easy to maintaining and growing fruits and vegetables, particularly if you do not have soil that is conducive to growing food or if it is not conducive to growing the type of food you want to grow.

The construction is fairly straightforward and apart from filling the bed with dirt, the entire process is not labor intensive.

Once your garden bed is completed and you plant your fruits or vegetables, watering is a breeze and keeping it weed free is also easy (if you use dirt purchased from a store).

If you have several beds, you can rotate maintenance (watering and weeding) work in an organized manner, which makes keeping on top of it very easy.
