Brush Up On Your Bushcraft Skills: Practice in Your Backyard

Acquiring survivalist and self reliant skills can take a considerable amount of time. It's all time well spent of course, but depending on how often you're able to break away from work and get out for the weekend, it might feel (for some) that you don't have as much time as you'd like to fine tune your skill set. We feel you, and we understand how important it is to make the time. But sometimes, going out into nature to practice specific techniques doesn't happen because the opportunity isn't there.

If you're in this situation, or you simply want to brush up on your skills as often as possible, then you're gonna be thrilled with today's post. There are 24 hours in a day, so make use of that time – especially over the weekend. Get off the sofa, turn off the tv or your computer (well… after you read this post!) and get to work. Practice makes a skilled survivor.

On page 2 we're going to show you various activities and projects that you can practice solo or with your family without venturing out into the wild!
