Best Finishes for a Survivalist’s Gun and Why He Should Consider Refinishing This Vital Weapon

Keeping your firearm(s) in good condition is paramount to ensuring that they will work when you want and how you need them to work.

A firearm that is not cleaned and primed inside and out can cause a myriad of problems.

It can jam, misfire or the stock can split if it is wood – all things that can make you miss your target or it can potentially pose a safety hazard.

While cleaning your firearm inside and out is the best way to make sure it fires as needed and expected, you need to focus on both equally.

External exposure to the elements, particularly saltwater, can lead to rust. Exposure to extreme heat or cold can lead to a wooden stock drying.

One way to help bolster your normal maintenance routine is to finish or refinish the external parts of your firearm.

We cover how to do that and what you need to consider on the next page.

You talk about guns, and give tips on Bows and Arrows. What’s up with that??

Better to have and not need than need and not have, a true survivor knows its best to always be prepared….. It can save your life.

OOOOKKKKK…. Clearly I’m the only one who READ the article, which claims to be about refinishing a firearm. Too bad the entire body of the article is the author singing the praises of a takedown bow, with a tiny little spot at the end directing you to another page to learn more about firearm finishes…..

    Clickbait bullshit………
