Contrary to what many may think, sex during a survival situation will be a lot more common an occurrence as people cope with the stress and duress of having their lives upended.

That makes it critical, however, that those engaging in sexual activity follows some basics as it pertains to safe sex and hygiene.

In the aftermath of almost every major disaster, sex has been mentioned as an activity many affected engaged in on a regular basis.

Given that reality, though, practicing safe sex and ordinary hygiene will be harder, but more important, particularly if the survival crisis lasts more than a few days.
